Spooktacular Non-Alcoholic Halloween Cocktails

You have carved pumpkins, sorted outfits, prepared the sweet treats and even decorated the house. Whether your hosting a Boo-gie party or having a quite night in, it’s important to make sure your drinks keep in theme with the celebrations. Below is a list of the best non-alcoholic cocktails to drink this Halloween making sure you don’t wake up with a scary hangover.

Blood Orange Bliss

Make sure your drinks fit into your Halloween themed party by serving our Blood Orange Bliss. A non-alcoholic cocktail with bold colours and strong flavours.

Glass:

Coupe 

Ingredients: 

50ml Borrago #47 Paloma Blend

1 Blood Orange 

1 tps Honey (We use our own)

Sparkling Water

Method:

Put the juice and zest of the Blood Orange into an ice filled shaker with the Borrago and Honey. Shake hard and strain, then top with a dash of sparkling water.

Garnish:

Blood Orange.  

 

Charcoal Martini

This non-alcoholic cocktail may look gloomy, dark and contain charcoal but in fact has the most wonderful lemony taste. Start the night by tricking your guests.

Glass: 

Martini 

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp Activated Charcoal  

25ml Lemon Juice

15ml Maple Syrup

1/4 Tsp Vanilla Bean Paste 

25ml Borrago #47 Paloma Blend 

75ml Coconut Water

10ml Aquafaba ( The juice from a can of Chickpeas)

Garnish: 

Mint Sprig

Method:

Put all the ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously over ice for 30 seconds to thicken, then double strain over a sieve into a chilled cocktail glass. 

Activated Charcoal can reduce the potency of some medicines, if in doubt check with you GP.

 

Ghost White No Ordinary Shake

Even the name sounds spooky. What’s unordinary about this non-alcoholic cocktail? You will have to try it to find out.

Glass:
10oz sling or collins

Ingredients:
50ml Borrago #47 Paloma Blend 
15ml Lemon Juice 
15ml Yuzu Juice 
30ml Double Cream 
25ml Sugar Syrup 
1 dash egg white or vegan friendly foamer 
Dash sparkling elderflower 

Method: 
Shake everything except the sparkling elderflower over ice. Shake again without the ice. Strain into a chilled glass and top up with the sparkling elderflower. 

Garnish: 
Edible flowers, preferably borage 

  

Bloody Borrago

A non-alcoholic cocktail which sounds gory but taste delicious.

  

Glass: 
Highball 

Ingredients: 
50ml Borrago #47 Paloma Blend 
200ml Tomato Juice 
25ml Lemon Juice 
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce 
3 dashes Tabasco sauce 
A good grind pepper 
Pinch celery salt 

Garnish: 

Celery Stick 

Method: 
Put all of the ingredients in an ice-filled glass and stir well. Adjust seasonings to taste. Garnish with a celery stick, some lemon wedges and a sprinkling of celery salt. Add a borage flower if you have one.  

 

The Poison Toffee Apple

The showstopper non-alcoholic cocktail you must have at your Halloween Party. The apple on top adds drama and theatre to the cocktail, perfect for Halloween

Glass: 

Martini

Ingredients: 

1 Teaspoon Salted Caramel Sauce

50ml Apple Juice

50ml Borrago #47 Paloma Blend 

 Garnish: 

Mini Toffee Apple or Apple Slice

Method:  

Put all the ingredeints ina mixing glass and stir well. A mini whisk helps break up the sauce.

Add ice and stir until the drink is chilled. Add more ice to serve  

Hocus Pocus Green Frizz

The perfect bright green non-alcoholic cocktail to serve at your hocus pocus themed party.

 

Glass: 
10oz rocks 

Ingredients: 
50ml Borrago #47 Paloma Blend 
25ml Lemon Juice 
25ml Basil Syrup 
2 Fresh Basil Sprigs 

Garnish: 
A large sprig of basil 
A borage flower if you have one 

Method: 
Shake well over ice. Double strain into a glass loaded with crushed ice. Garnish with a large sprig of basil and a borage flower if you have one.
